Putin called the deceased Ali Larijani a wise and far-sighted politician

On May 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences over the death of Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani.

"Mr. Larijani, who unfortunately passed away. It's a pity, he was a man with whom it was possible to have a constructive dialogue — he listened, heard, reacted to everything," the Russian leader said in an interview with reporters.
