Putin is confident that the conflict in Ukraine is coming to an end.

On May 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that the Ukrainian conflict was moving towards an end.

"I think the case is coming to an end," he said.

At the same time, the Russian leader stressed that he was ready to meet with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

"Whoever wants to meet, let them come to Moscow," the Russian president added.
