Japan confirms diplomats' trip to Russia

Japanese diplomats as part of a government delegation will visit Russia at the end of May. This was reported on May 9 by Bloomberg with reference to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of the country.

"The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (MATZ) has informed <...> that it may send government officials to Russia as early as the end of May," the publication says.

It is specified that the trip will be related to maintaining contacts with the Russian Federation to facilitate the further activities of Japanese companies in Russia.
