Ministry of Transport: the work of Russia's southern airports is returning to normal

All previously suspended airports in the south of Russia are operating as planned. This was announced on Saturday, May 9, by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

"All previously suspended air harbors are functioning as planned, the newly formed schedule is fully implemented by the end of the current day. There are no clusters of passengers in the terminals. The observance of citizens' rights at airports is monitored by Rostransnadzor inspectors," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

The suspension of the work of 13 airports located in the south of Russia became known on the morning of May 8. Experts have begun assessing the damage caused to the regional center of the Unified Air Traffic Management System (EU ATM).

Later, the Ministry of Transport reported that all previously suspended airports in southern Russia were operating as planned. According to the agency, by 20:00 Moscow time, 55 flights were operated between the airports of the southern regions and other regions of the country, carrying more than 7.1 thousand passengers.
