The Iranian Football Federation named 10 conditions for the national team's participation in the World Cup in the USA

The Iranian side has put forward 10 conditions to guarantee the participation of the country's national football team in the World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada. This was announced on May 9 by the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic (FFIRI).

"We will definitely take part in the 2026 World Cup, but the host countries must take our concerns into account," the RTBF portal reported.

These conditions of Iran include the issuance of visas, as well as respect for staff, the Iranian flag and the national anthem. In addition, Tehran has demanded a high level of security at airports, hotels and on routes leading to stadiums where the team will play.

President of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) Gianni Infantino announced at the organization's congress in Vancouver, Canada, on April 30 that the Iranian national football team will participate in the 2026 World Cup and will play its matches in the United States. The Iranian national team will play in the same group with the national teams of Belgium, Egypt and New Zealand in the group stage matches in the USA.
