The Lube group released a new song "Wait for me" for Victory Day. This was announced on May 9 by the group's press service.
"We sincerely congratulate you on this holiday from the whole Lube group. May 9th is not just a date on the calendar. This holiday unites generations. It is about the courage of those who, at the cost of incredible efforts, gave us peace, and about our common memory, which we must preserve and pass on," said Nikolai Rastorguev, the leader of the Lube group, People's Artist of Russia, in a message on the Maks messenger.
The author of the music and lyrics was Igor Matvienko.
The leader of the Lube group, People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Rastorguev, told Izvestia on April 21 that he would release a song for Victory Day. He noted that the composition will be dedicated to the heroes of the Fatherland, who gave their youth and lives for a peaceful sky above their heads. The People's Artist of Russia stressed that the soldiers had accomplished a feat, fought to save their homeland, and would forever remain in the memory of all generations.
