Slovakia will continue to take care of the cemeteries of soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War on the territory of the republic. This was announced on May 9 by Prime Minister Robert Fico at talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Fico also thanked the Russian leader for the reception he received at the Victory Day celebration in Moscow.
