The extension of the ceasefire in Ukraine after May 11 has not yet been discussed. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on May 9.

"The truce is now on 9, 10, 11 [May], there have been no other talks," Peskov said, answering the relevant question. His words are quoted by Interfax.

Peskov also said that a new conversation between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, has not yet been scheduled.

On May 8, Trump expressed hope that a truce between Russia and Ukraine could begin to end the conflict. The head of the White House added that at the designated time, on his initiative, a three-day cease-fire (May 9, 10 and 11) would be observed between Moscow and Kiev.
