In Khabarovsk, the city of Military Glory, the celebrations began, according to tradition, with the presentation of the state flag of the Russian Federation and a copy of the Victory Banner on the main square to the accompaniment of the patriotic song "Holy War". Then there was a review and passage of the troops of the Blagoveshchensk garrison of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, including cadets of military schools and participants in a special military operation.

"Every year, people began to understand more and more what Victory is <...> and more and more gather, and here on the square I see much more [people] than it was before.<...> They began to treat this more with understanding. That's impressive," Major General Viktor Shevelev shared his observations.

The governor of the Amur region, Vasily Orlov, commenting on the celebrations on the occasion of May 9 in his region, clarified that a total of 37 settlements had passed through the streets of the city. In his message on the Telegram channel, he once again expressed gratitude to the honorable audience - veterans, home front workers and children of war. The veterans, as Orlov emphasized, are a living story, as well as an example of indomitable courage and love for the Motherland.
