- The Pentagon has released the first batch of classified materials about UFOs and anomalies.
The first batch of American documents containing information about unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and various anomalies has been declassified and is now available to everyone. This was announced by the Pentagon on May 8.
"Today, the Ministry of War announced the initial release of new, previously unpublished files on unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). <...> Americans can now instantly access declassified federal government files via UAP. The latest videos, photos, and original UAP documents from across the U.S. government are gathered in one place — no [special] access is required," reads a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
This step, as explained in the department, was taken as part of the policy of maximum transparency pursued by the current head of the White House, Donald Trump. The published materials, as specified, were hidden by previous administrations, while the residents of the United States demanded more clarity on UFO issues.
The Pentagon added that all the posted images were previously checked for safety, but nothing supernatural was found in some of them. Users, in turn, began sharing their pictures of strange lights and objects in the sky in the comments under the publication. Someone reacted to this with irony, and someone with skepticism.
Trump promised to publish a lot of data about UFOs on April 29. Then he added that some military pilots in conversation with him told him about unimaginable things. 10 days earlier, the American leader promised to find out the reasons for the mysterious deaths and disappearances of 11 scientists in the United States who were associated with anti-gravity. Later, specialists from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) joined the same process.
