The BARS regional unit for countering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) will be established in the Perm Territory. This was announced on Friday, May 8, by Governor Dmitry Makhonin following a meeting of the operational headquarters.

"We discussed the priority tasks of strengthening regional multi-level layered protection, as well as the creation of a regional unit "BARS", which will deal with the suppression of UAVs," he wrote in his channel in the messenger "Maks".
