Fireworks on Victory Day in Moscow. Broadcast
One of the key elements of Victory Day celebrations in Russia is a fireworks display on the evening of May 9th. Izvestia is broadcasting the event in Moscow.
Fireworks in the capital traditionally begin at 22:00 and last about 10 minutes. The first volleys are fired in Moscow, and then in other cities.
During the fireworks, 30 volleys are fired from different points of the capital — the same number as during the fireworks on May 9, 1945.
