In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, they began to gradually introduce a special fire protection regime (ODA). This is reported by the regional forest fire center and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.

Since May 8, the ODA has been operating in Krasnoyarsk, Divnogorsk, Zheleznogorsk, Zelenogorsk, the village of Solnechny, as well as in most districts of the central and southern parts of the region. The situation in the forests is monitored around the clock.

Starting from May 20, a special fire protection regime will be in effect in Boguchansky, Yeniseysky, Kezhemsky and Motyginsky districts. Since June 20 - in Norilsk, North Yenisei, Evenki districts, as well as in Taimyr.

Free access to forests is limited during the period of the ODA. It is also forbidden to burn bonfires, grass and garbage.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, it is planned to patrol the territories of settlements and forests in an enhanced mode, including from the air. Camera traps are installed in places of mass recreation.

Fines are provided for violators: for individuals — from 10 thousand to 20 thousand rubles, for officials — from 30 thousand to 60 thousand rubles, for legal entities — from 400 thousand to 800 thousand rubles. If a person's actions have led to a forest fire, the amount of the fine increases, and in case of serious damage, criminal liability may arise.
