In Russia, summer tires have fallen in price by almost 5% in a year

The average price of non-premium summer tires for passenger cars decreased by 4.8% over the year and reached 9.9 thousand rubles by April. The National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI) announced this in its Telegram channel on May 8.

So, in April 2025, the average price of summer tires was 10.4 thousand rubles. It remained above the 10,000-ruble mark until the end of autumn and dropped to 9.8 thousand rubles in November. In January, the price rose to 10.3 thousand rubles, and in February and March, the figure dropped to 9.8 thousand rubles.

As for other tires from the non-premium segment, by April 2026, all-season tires for the year rose in price by 3.8% (to 13.2 thousand rubles), and winter tires increased in price by 1.4% (to 9.7 thousand rubles).

As Ilya Plisov, a member of the Board of the Union of Car Service Stations of Russia, previously said, the Russian tire market in 2025-2026 remains under strong oversupply, which is observed primarily in the Asian segment, which has led to lower retail prices.

As it became known on April 16, major manufacturers of automobile tires asked the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) to protect the Russian market from increasingly increasing imports, mainly from China. China accounts for about 75% of supplies, mainly budget segment tires.
