The schedule of fountains in Lipetsk has been established

Fountains will be open five days a week in Lipetsk. We spent two days on their sanitation.

The work schedule was set by the city administration. According to GOROD48, the fountains will be turned off on Mondays and Thursdays. On the remaining days of the week in May and September, the fountains will start working at 10 a.m. and finish at 10 p.m. In summer — an hour longer, up to 23 hours.

On Theater Square, the cascade of fountains will be turned off every day for four hours, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., on Peter's Square and Lenin Street they will not work from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. But on Cathedral Square, the cascade will function continuously.

In March, it was reported that a cast-iron pillar with a clock and backlight would appear in the historical site of Lipetsk. The architectural form will be placed at the expense of local patrons. The art object will be installed in the center of the square on Frunze Street, 8. The height of the pillar will be 3.5 m, weight - 2.5 tons. The size of the watch itself is 0.6×0.6 m. The public space should be put in order by the autumn of 2026.
