Dmitriev gave Merz advice on preserving the German economy

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz needs to change course today and act in the opposite way, so as not to become like British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. This was announced on May 8 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

"For Mertz to succeed, he just needs to do the opposite of what he's doing now. He still has a chance not to become a second Starmer," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Dmitriev noted that residents of Germany should prepare for the worst situation until German politicians and bureaucrats change course and make erroneous decisions, until the Alternative for Germany party corrects the situation.

Thus, Dmitriev commented on the published information on industrial production in Germany. According to statistics, production in March decreased by 0.7% in monthly terms. At the same time, the indicator fell by 2.8% over the year.
