The United Russia Party is currently holding hundreds of patriotic Victory Day events in various cities. So, on May 8, a motorcycle rally organized jointly with the Night Wolves club started in Khimki near Moscow.
The route of the column is laid through the military memorials of the district. In the village of Shaturtorf, an Eternal Flame lit up for the first time at the monument to the Unknown Soldier, residents came to lay flowers. At the initiative of the party, a large-scale reconstruction was carried out here, and gas was brought to the memorial.
A grandiose event took place in the south-east of the region in Stupino, where real fighting unfolded. About 200 reenactors, tanks and artillery took part in the Fire Arc Historical Festival. To immerse the audience in the atmosphere of wartime, an episode of one of the battles was recreated on the field.
On May 6, the Moscow branch of United Russia (EP) organized an action "Electric Train of Victory" on the eve of Victory Day. A train carrying WWII participants, former concentration camp prisoners, yunarmeyts and volunteers set off from the MCD-4 Zheleznodorozhnaya station in Balashikha to the Belorussky Railway Station in Moscow. On the way, the veterans shared their memories of the events of the war years.
