The Ukrainian side, despite the declared ceasefire, does not observe the established pause in hostilities and continues to conduct attacks. This was announced on May 8 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the military, 153 attacks on Russian positions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using artillery pieces, multiple rocket launchers, mortars and tanks were recorded.
