A large gathering of people before the Victory Day holiday was recorded from Estonia at the Ivangorod checkpoint to Russia, the North-Western Customs Administration reported on May 8.

"There are no queues from Russia in front of the Ivangorod checkpoint. There is an accumulation of people from Estonia, which is precisely due to the mode of operation of the Estonian services. The Ivangorod MAPP customs post is operating normally," RIA Novosti reports.

Hotel operators in Ivangorod, Russia, which borders Narva, Estonia, reported that there were no more places in hotels in the village on the eve of the festivities. The hoteliers noted that from 9 to 10 May they will have full occupancy.
