This year, on May 9, Izvestia 78 cameras will be working at the Victory Day Parade and during the Immortal Regiment and Immortal Fleet campaigns, as well as viewers will see thematic documentaries and special projects — "Photographs of Victory and "Songs of Victory."

A live festive broadcast will open the Victory Day Parade on the Palace Square. And at 12:30, a special edition of Izvestia 78. The Immortal Regiment will begin. This is a two-hour broadcast with live broadcasts from correspondents and presenters of the 78 TV channel working on the route of the Immortal Regiment. For the second year in a row, the campaign has been held in St. Petersburg in a full-time format.

Also, documentaries made by the 78th creative team and the inter-program project "Photographs of Victory", based on family photo archives of Petersburgers and employees of the 78th TV channel, will be shown throughout the day. This year, the hosts of 78 TV channel Ilya Mikhailov-Sobolevsky, Bela Bekoeva, Alexander Gavrilov, Robert Gursky, Anna Gavrilova and Anastasia Sesitskaya took part in the beloved Songs of Victory project. They performed famous songs to the accompaniment of St. Petersburg musicians. Each composition became not only a musical postcard during the inter—program time, but also included in the evening concert - a screening of all the compositions shot during the four years of the project's life.

The final chord of the broadcast on May 9 on "78" will traditionally be the broadcast of fireworks. The first salvo over St. Petersburg will be fired at 22:00.
