The emergency mode was introduced in the Rostov-on-Don region due to drone attacks. This was announced on May 8 by the mayor Alexander Scriabin.

"I held an extraordinary meeting of the Emergency Committee. A decision has been made: to maintain an emergency regime within the borders of the Railway area, where damage was caused after the UAV crash," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
