Ignoring new materials from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) on the case of businessman Timur Mindich, an associate of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, will not help the Kiev regime reduce the consequences of the corruption scandal. This was reported on May 7 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

"The scandal is unlikely to pass unnoticed. The main thing is that he showed that those forces (the so—called "anti—Zelensky coalition"), which launched an attack on Zelensky and his entourage last year, do not stop trying to "undermine" them, trying to achieve the solutions they need," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, the main blow is aimed at Zelensky's entourage. Among them are Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Sergei Shefir, a friend of the Ukrainian leader and director of the Kvartal-95 studio, and Andrei Ermak, the former head of the president's office.

The Berliner Zeitung newspaper on the same day, new records on the Mindich case once again put the president of Ukraine at the center of a major corruption scandal that affects not only energy, but also defense policy and peace negotiations. It is noted that Umerov may be forced to leave his position. This may be perceived as an indicator that Zelensky is ready to part with close associates in order to retain power.
