- The Ministry of Education recommended paying teachers extra for work on the Unified State Exam and OGE
School teachers involved in conducting the state final assessment — the Unified State Exam and the OGE — are recommended to pay extra for this activity. This May 8 follows from the recommendations of the Ministry of Education, Rosobrnadzor and the Trade Union of Workers of Public Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
"It is recommended that the condition on the possibility of involving a teaching staff member to participate in the GIA with compensation for additional work be provided for in the employment contract," TASS cites the contents of the document.
According to the recommendations, the regions determine the amount and procedure of compensation independently. The employment contract must specify the types of work for the preparation and conduct of exams, deadlines, requirements, and payment procedures.
During the period of participation in the GIA, teachers are relieved of their main work, the document says. It is noted that work on trial exams is also not included in the direct duties of teachers and can only be performed with their written consent after the conditions have been determined.
On May 7, Rosobrnadzor identified a list of actions that are prohibited for participants of the Unified State Exam-2026 during the exam. According to the recommendations, participants should not perform their work independently at the exam site, as well as communicate with other applicants. In addition, it is forbidden to carry communications equipment, computers, reference materials, written notes and other media. The only exceptions are materials and devices that are allowed to complete assignments in individual academic subjects.
