Iran could have retained up to 70% of its ballistic missiles after the US attacks. This was reported on May 7 by The Washington Post (WP), citing an analysis by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

"Iran retains about 75% of its pre—war stocks of mobile launchers and about 70% of its pre-war stocks of missiles," said a U.S. official familiar with the contents of the CIA document.

According to a WP source, Tehran was able to restore and re-commission almost all underground storage facilities, repair some of the previously damaged missiles, and assemble new missiles that were in the final stages of preparation for the outbreak of war.

State broadcaster IRIB reported on May 7 that the Iranian Armed Forces fired missiles at a US ship in the Strait of Hormuz. It is noted that this happened in response to the American attack on an Iranian oil tanker.

Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin reported on May 7 that the US Armed Forces attacked the Iranian port of Qeshm, located on the island of the same name, which is the largest in the Strait of Hormuz, and the city of Bandar Abbas. She added that this action is not a resumption of the war.
