On May 7, US President Donald Trump announced that three world-class American destroyers had passed through the Strait of Hormuz.
"Three world-class American destroyers have just successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz under fire. Three destroyers were not damaged, but the Iranian attackers suffered huge damage," he wrote on the Truth Social network.
