The Iranian Armed Forces fired missiles at a US ship in the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported on April 7 by the state-owned IRIB television company, citing a military intelligence official.
"Attacking enemy units in the Strait of Hormuz came under rocket fire from Iran and were forced to flee, suffering damage," the Telegram channel said.
According to IRIB, this happened in response to the American attack on an Iranian oil tanker.
