The Brazilian president spoke about Trump's position on the Iranian conflict.

The head of the White House, Donald Trump, considers the conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran to be over. This was announced by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva after a meeting with the American leader on May 7.

"He (Trump. — Ed.) believes that the war (with Iran. It's already over — it doesn't correspond to reality, but he thinks so. I'm not going to argue with him because of his view of the war," the Brazilian president told reporters.

Lula da Silva stressed that he prefers dialogue to armed conflicts and expressed the opinion that Washington's attack on Tehran will cause more damage to the United States than it seems.
