Almost 700 people suffered from tick bites in the Krasnoyarsk Territory
Over the past week, 692 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory suffered from tick bites. There are 205 children among the injured.
According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, doctors suspect Siberian tick-borne typhus in a ten-year-old child. The diagnosis has not yet been confirmed. It is known that a tick has stuck near a house in the village of Nikolskoye in the Idrinsk-Krasnoturansk district.
A total of 966 cases of tick bites have been registered since the beginning of the season. Experts remind you that when sucking a tick, it should be carefully removed and stored for laboratory examination.
Earlier it was reported that four exotic viruses dangerous to humans were found in ticks in northwestern Russia - Mukawa, Nuomin, Beijing nairovirus and Gakugsa virus.
