Sobyanin announced the elimination of two UAVs flying to Moscow

Air defense systems destroyed two more drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which were flying towards Moscow. This was announced on May 7 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The attack of two more UAVs has been repelled," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

Sobyanin added that specialists are currently working at the crash site of the Ukrainian drones.

Drones are mainly targeting civilians — almost 85% of the affected civilians were hit by UAVs in April.

Earlier that day, the air defense forces destroyed 101 Ukrainian drones. So, drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk and Tula regions, as well as the Krasnodar Territory, the Moscow region and the Black Sea.
