Belousov attended the Victory Day Parade on Red Square in Moscow
On May 9, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov hosts a parade in honor of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War on Red Square in Moscow.
The head of the military department drove in an open-topped executive car and greeted the parade troops on foot.
The parade is commanded by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Russian Army, Hero of Russia Andrey Mordvichev. He makes a detour of the parade calculations together with the Minister of Defense.
The Victory anniversary parade takes place in Moscow on May 9th. During the solemn event, parade troops of military educational institutions of the Russian Armed Forces will walk along Red Square. In addition, aerobatic flight groups are expected to fly over Red Square.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin will speak at the parade. The presidents of six foreign countries, the Supreme Ruler of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, and the head of Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sinisa Karan, are taking part in the Victory Day celebrations with him.
