Russians were given the best points and time to observe the Blue Moon.
It is best to observe the Blue Moon on the evening of May 31 after sunset or during its rising above the horizon. This was announced by astrologer Anastasia Grokhotova in an interview with Izvestia.
"It is best to observe the Blue Moon on the evening of May 31 after sunset or during moonrise above the horizon, where due to the optical illusion, the lunar disk looks especially expressive," she pointed out.
The most spectacular observation is expected in the evening hours, immediately after sunset, when the Earth's satellite begins to rise above the horizon and becomes clearly visible in the dark sky. During this period, the Moon looks the brightest and most contrasting against the background of the gradually darkening firmament.
It is noted that optimal conditions for observation are formed in places with an open horizon and a minimum level of urban illumination. Locations outside large populated areas or open spaces where there is no significant light interference are considered the best. If the weather is favorable, the Blue Moon can be seen with the naked eye, without using special equipment.
