Lada Iskra sets monthly sales record

In April of this year, sales of Lada Iskra family cars in Russia amounted to 3,236 vehicles. This is the maximum monthly result for the model since its launch in July last year, the analytical agency Autostat reported in its Telegram channel on May 7.

This result allowed Lada Iskra to return to the top ten best-selling models of the Russian car market, analysts noted. It is in seventh position, ahead of the Haval M6, Lada Niva Legend and Geely Monjaro in popularity.

Last December, Lada Iskra sold 3,203 units and for the first time entered the top ten most popular models on the Russian market, taking the last place in it. In January of this year, Iskra moved to eighth place, after which it dropped out of the top 10 in February and March.

In total, from July last year to April this year, the total sales volume of Lada Iskra family cars in Russia amounted to almost 14.8 thousand units, analysts estimate.

As AvtoVAZ reported on May 4, in April 2026, the company sold 31.2 thousand cars, which is more than 12% higher than the result of March of the same year, as well as more than 4% higher than April 2025. Granta remains the sales leader of the Lada brand, with a total of 11.5 thousand vehicles of this family sold in April.
