Temporary flight restrictions lifted at Sochi Airport

Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of civil aircraft were lifted at Sochi airport. This was announced on May 7 by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

"Sochi Airport. Restrictions on the admission and release of aircraft have been lifted," the Maks messenger says.

The ministry stressed that these measures were necessary for the safety of aircraft flights.

Earlier in the day, eight airports in Russia introduced temporary flight restrictions. The list of closed airports includes Vnukovo, Ivanovo (Yuzhny), Kaluga (Grabtsevo), Perm (Bolshoe Savino), Sochi, Tambov (Donskoye), Cherepovets and Yaroslavl.
