Navigation for small vessels in the Murmansk region will open on May 10.

The navigation season for small vessels will open in the Murmansk Region this weekend. This applies to watercraft that ensure the safety of people on the water, protect reservoirs and biological objects.

The decree of the regional government states that starting from May 10, access to rivers and lakes in the Kandalaksha and Tersk districts is allowed. After another 10 days, on May 20, it is allowed to go out on the water surface in Kovdorsky district.

Starting from May 25, water facilities for small vessels will be available in all BUT. Starting from the same day, navigation will open in Murmansk, Monchegorsk, Apatity, Polar Dawns, Kirovsk, Olenegorsk and Pechenga district.

According to the Bi-Port news agency, from May 30, the permit will become effective in the Kola and Lovozersk districts.
