The construction of a new aboveground pedestrian crossing has been completed in Lyubertsy. The builder has already been issued an opinion on the conformity of the facility with the project, the press service of the central office of Stroynadzor in the Moscow region reports.

The facility is located at the intersection of the Moscow — Yegoryevsk — Tuma—Kasimov and Kraskovo — Korenevo — Torbeevo highways. The length of the passage is 41.9 m, it is equipped with elevators and a dispatcher control system.

The design takes into account the high level of automobile and pedestrian traffic. This ensures safety and comfort of movement.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the work was carried out within the framework of the state program "Development and functioning of the road transport complex."

Earlier it was reported that 13 bridges and hundreds of kilometers of roads leading to monasteries, churches, temples, cathedrals and chapels will be repaired in the Moscow Region in 2026. The total length of the updated sections will be 295 km.
