An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed on the territory of an oil depot in the city of Rezekne in the eastern part of Latvia. This was reported on May 7 by the Delfi portal with reference to the state Fire and Rescue service.

According to Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds, according to preliminary data, drones "directed from the Ukrainian side towards Russia" could fly into the country.
