The air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian UAVs flying to Penza

The Air Defense Forces intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who flew to Penza. This was announced on May 7 by the governor of the region Oleg Melnichenko.

"The air defense of the Ministry of Defense shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles flying to Penza," the Telegram channel said in a statement.

Sobyanin clarified that specialists are working at the crash site of the UAV wreckage.

Drones are mainly targeting civilians — almost 85% of the affected civilians were hit by UAVs in April.

On May 6, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the air defense forces had destroyed 46 Ukrainian drones over the regions of the Russian Federation. It was noted that enemy drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Kaluga, Kursk, and Rostov regions.
