Private Ivan Moskalev used small arms to destroy an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during a combat mission to deliver ammunition and provisions in a special military operation zone. This was announced on May 7 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

A car driven by Moskalev came under intense artillery fire from the militants. Nevertheless, the soldier was able to get the transport out from under enemy fire, thanks to which the cargo was successfully delivered to the position of the Russian army. During unloading, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack the military with a strike UAV, but Moskalev took up a firing position and destroyed the drone in the air with well-aimed shots, after unloading the private safely returned to the original area.

Thanks to Moskalev's courage and professional actions, the cargo of ammunition and provisions was successfully delivered on time to the position of the Russian assault group.

The Defense Ministry also noted the dedication and professional actions of Private Ruslan Vasiliev, who saved the lives of two Russian servicemen during the combat mission to provide first aid and evacuate the wounded from the line of contact.

Vasiliev, acting as part of an evacuation group, moved out to evacuate the wounded, being under mortar fire and the threat of attack by enemy attack UAVs. The fighter was able to reach two comrades, gave them first aid and evacuated them to a safe place in turn, after which he organized the delivery of the wounded to a medical facility.
