The European Union (EU) is mistaken if they think they can silence the threats of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to strike Moscow during Victory Day celebrations on May 9. This was announced on May 6 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"If the EU countries think that they will be able to "silence" publicly voiced threats, so to speak, "sweep under the carpet" Zelensky's aggressive statements, then they are sorely mistaken," she is quoted as saying in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
