FAS announced a decrease in prices for social goods in the regions of Russia

Prices for social goods have decreased in the regions of Russia as a result of price agreements. This was announced on May 6 by the press service of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.

"As a result of the conclusion of price agreements, prices and margins for "social" items of goods in the regions have decreased," the Maks messenger says.

According to the agency, on average, the cost of 39 categories of goods in 11 regions decreased by 11.3%. The largest drop in prices was noted for tomatoes — by 34.7%, as well as for cottage cheese, potatoes, onions and sour cream.

The State Duma considers it necessary to return to the parity setting of its value for a period of 10 years.
