- In Ukraine, they offered young people to undergo military training before going abroad
Young people aged 18-22 who have been allowed to leave Ukraine should be required to take basic combined arms military training (BZINB) courses before traveling abroad, this opinion was expressed on May 6 by Verkhovna Rada deputy Ruslan Gorbenko.
"I support the decision [to allow men aged 18-22 to travel abroad], but with one exception: these guys must pass the BZINC. And already at the BZIN, recruiters and psychologists will definitely be able to find people willing to work in Poland for not a thousand euros," he said in an interview with the Ukrainian edition of the Telegraph.
He added that in this way, young men could earn "a lot of money" by operating ground-based robotic complexes (MRCS), as well as drones.
The Ukrainian edition of "Country.ua" announced on May 1 that the country plans to reduce the quotas for reservations from mobilization. This step, according to the forecasts of authorized persons, will contribute to the recruitment of another 350,000 to 400,000 new soldiers into the army.
The freedom of movement of Ukrainian citizens was restricted after the introduction of martial law in the country in 2022. Men between the ages of 18 and 60 were banned from leaving the country. Evading military service during mobilization in Ukraine is criminalized with a penalty of up to five years in prison.
