Trump threatened Iran with a resumption of bombing by the United States
The bombing of Iran will resume with greater force if the Islamic Republic does not agree to the terms of the United States. This was announced on May 6 by the American President Donald Trump.
According to the head of the White House, if an agreement is reached between the parties, a highly effective "blockade" will allow the Strait of Hormuz to be open to all states, including Iran.
"If they do not agree, the bombing will begin, and, unfortunately, it will be at a much higher level and intensity than before," the American leader wrote on the Truth Social network.
The day before, the Axios portal reported that the head of the White House may resume a military operation against Iran during the current week.
On May 5, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that the American operation Epic Fury against Iran has been completed. According to him, Washington and Tehran will consider possible ways of settlement. In addition, the Secretary of State said that Iran does not need to enrich uranium to develop peaceful nuclear energy.
