The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has proposed conducting an experiment on targeted recruitment of foreign labor in 2027-2030. The relevant document was published on May 6 on the official Internet portal of legal acts of the decree.

"It provides for the government of the Russian Federation to conduct an experiment from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2030 to test the rules and conditions for foreign citizens to work in the Russian Federation in an organized recruitment process," the explanatory note to the draft says.
