AvtoVAZ has revealed the color palette of the Lada Azimut crossover

The new Lada Azimut crossover will be offered in eight different body colors to choose from. This was announced on May 6 by AvtoVAZ's Telegram channel in a video dedicated to the design of the novelty.

The shades in the Lada Azimut color scheme do not have names yet. The traditional white, as well as black and other dark shades were joined by two relatively bright ones — green and red. AvtoVAZ said that crossover buyers will be able to choose between two roof paint options.

Representatives of the company also shared that when developing the Lada Azimut design, the specialists were inspired by architectural avant-gardism. Lada's signature X-design has been upgraded — the model has clean proportions, but "even more air, light and precise graphics," AvtoVAZ noted.

The launch of serial production of the crossover is scheduled for the third quarter of this year. Lada Azimut will be the first model of the brand with a panoramic roof and a sliding sunroof. In preparation for the production of the car, automated equipment for the installation of a panoramic roof was installed at the factory for the first time.

AvtoVAZ employees went on a single corporate vacation on March 4, which will last until May 13 inclusive. During this period, the company will carry out a range of production modernization activities. In total, it is planned to carry out over 15 thousand works with a total capacity of 110 thousand man-days, the total budget for the May modernization will exceed 530 million rubles.
