In the Trans-Baikal Territory, 750 kg of salt and oats were purchased in the Arey Nature Park. This is necessary for feeding wild ungulates. Their strength is exhausted after a harsh winter.

The events are held as part of biotechnical work, writes ChitaMedia news agency with reference to the regional Ministry of Natural Resources. The main task of specialists is to make up for the lack of minerals and energy in ungulates, as fresh vegetation has not yet appeared.

The directorate of the nature park notes that biotechnological measures are necessary for the survival of the fauna during the most difficult period.

Earlier it was reported that massive violations were detected in Russian specially protected areas. Commercial buildings and hunting grounds were opened in the reserves, illegal logging was carried out, and measures to protect populations of Red Book plants and animals were disrupted. This follows from the representation of the Prosecutor General's Office. Such violations were detected, including in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
