Footage from the plane crash site in the Omsk region has been published

The ultralight Aeroprakt-22 aircraft, which crashed in the Omsk region, was completely deformed during the fall. Footage from the scene on May 6 is published by Izvestia.

The crash site was cordoned off by law enforcement officers. The plane turned over during the crash and fell onto the roof. The front of the aircraft is completely crumpled, the wings are deformed.

The Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region has opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during aircraft operation").

On the same day, the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office announced that an investigation was underway in the Omsk region into the circumstances of the light aircraft crash. According to preliminary data, an Aeroprakt-22 aircraft crashed near the village of Koshkarevo in the Azov German National District. According to the Izvestia source, two crew members were killed.
