Europe intends to impose the concept of "peace through force" on Russia. This was announced on May 6 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

"They want to impose the concept of "peace through force" on us," he wrote in an article for RT.

Medvedev stressed that Russia's tools for preventing the escalation of conflicts cannot be persuasion, demonstration of good intentions and unilateral confidence-building steps. According to him, Germany and the European countries supporting it should realize that they will receive "unacceptable damage" in the case of the implementation of the Barbarossa 2.0 plan.

Svetlana Zhurova, First Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Relations, said on May 4 that the European Union (EU) and NATO have always been heading for confrontation with Russia. The parliamentarian expressed confidence that confrontation is always beneficial to those who earn money from it.
