The population of Kherson, which is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), is under intense pressure from law enforcement agencies and is regularly subjected to mobilization raids. This was announced on May 6 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"Information about the difficult situation is coming from Kherson. People are talking about pressure from the Ukrainian security forces, mobilization raids, military deployment near civilian infrastructure, fear and fatigue," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
