Missile tests began at the Kura test site in the Ust-Kamchatsky district of Kamchatka. This was announced on May 6 on the website of the government of the Kamchatka Territory.

"The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation warns residents of the region about conducting tests at the Kura test site in the Ust-Kamchatsky Municipal District from May 6 to May 10 inclusive. Residents are urged to refrain from visiting the landfill and nearby territories within the specified period," the message says.
