The OP offered to pay for sick leave for large families from the Social Fund

Full financing of temporary disability benefits for parents with many children should be carried out exclusively at the expense of the Social Fund of Russia. This proposal was made on May 6 by Sergey Rybalchenko, Chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on demography, protection of family, children and traditional family values.

"Now, according to the law, the employer pays for the first three days of a sick employee, and the following days are paid by the Social Fund. I believe that for parents with many children, all sick leave must be paid from the Social Fund from the first day," he told RIA Novosti.

It is specified that this solution can simultaneously ease the financial burden for companies and provide support to families with a large number of children. According to Rybalchenko, the unemployment rate among parents with many children is significantly higher than among those with one or two children.

The specialist added that transferring sick leave payments to the Social Fund would make hiring such employees more profitable and attractive to employers.
